The brisket, chicken wings, and Mac and cheese were fantastic. Everything else was just good just not great.

Lost a star for poor service. Got takeout, when food came asked if it came with plates and silverware. Was angrily told, next time you need to ask for these when you place the order. Okaaaayyyyy. Good pork and coleslaw though.

I had the ribs and they were somewhat dry and nothing compared to the ribs I could get at A Fine Swine BBQ. I also had the slaw and wished it would've been made fresh and not from Sysco or some other food service. The Mac and cheese was tasty but left me wanting more than the micro pie pan serving.

If you like really Smokey meat this is the place. Have had many things and I've never been disappointed. Their Texas burger and the Feed Your Fire burgers are amazing and the sides are great.

For a BBQ joint it was pretty good. If go again. The baked mac n cheese was good. Beans were tasty. The salads crispy. Dressings were fine. The garlic bread is a load of bread and garlic butter on the side. Lots of butter. Lots of sauce

This place was great. I had the burnt ends and they were amazing. The side dishes at this place are out of this world. The sweet potato casserole was a very unexpected surprise. I do not usually like sweet potatoes. The ordering is a little different than most restaurants, you order before you sit down and they give you a number. That caught me a little off guard. Overall though a great experience, the service is crazy fast.

Went for burnt tips which I have heard many rave reviews for. They were out so I went for a brisket sandwich. Meat quality was good and the barbecue sauce was excellent, but very little sauce was on the burger. The jalapeno cheddar grits were okay.

Good visit. Three of us - different meals - hostess was timely and very pleasant. Food was good and well prepared and there were no derogatory comments about either the main course or the sides. I got the burn ends (pictured) and they were moist, well smoked, and excellent for tenderness. The beets were good, not grandma's level, but good nonetheless. Would visit again!!

Stopping for the night, needing to eat and many good chain restaurants around. What do I do... come to fire N smoke because it smells good! Basic restaurant with fantastic food. This hit the spot! my Bride had brisket with mac n cheese and hash brown casserole. The bread had 2 heaping tablespoons of garlic butter and a wonderful container of ketchup based sauce that she loved. I had the smoked Turkey sandwich with jalapeño cheese grits. Fantastic is the word that comes to mind. Just wish I lived closer!!!!!!

Food was to die for and all the staff were very nice and helpful. Definitely go here if you're in the area. Would rate this place 10 stars if I could!

Amazing Food, Great Prices, had the Fire n Smoke sandwich and tater twists. Sandwich was amazing and loaded with meat!! Great Value. Restaurant was exceptionally clean and service was Awesome!!!!

WOW! That's the best bbq I have ever had! Ribs made to perfection. Brisket...amazing! The sides of sweet potato and baked beans are a real treat too! Luckily for me to have stopped in early. There's a long line for lunch and it's worth the wait! Highly recommended!

THE SINGLE BEST BBQ I'VE EVER HAD. I'm not exaggerating, I got the burnt ends, with mac and cheese and potato twisters and HOLY SMOKES was it life-changing. I've eaten at some of the best places in Memphis, Kansas City, and St Louis and this beat them ALL. My wife had the ribs and they just melted off tender. WHAT?!?! Troy, Illinois?!?! Yes..... yes.

I had the 2-meat platter with ribs and brisket. The ribs were very good with a nice smoke flavor complimented by a good rub. The brisket was a little drier than I would like, but still good. The mac’n cheese side was very good. I would definitely go again.

Meat! Cooked well, could have better seasoning. Relies mostly on sauces which were pretty good but on sweet side. Mac and cheese and sweet potato side were awesome.

Hands down one of the best barbecue joints within a hundred miles. Get the feed your fire Burger it's basically a sampler of everything. It's a great deal. Food comes up fast.

Love the setup....order at counter, fill up your own soft drink or sweet tea, have a seat and they bring you our your order. The hubby said it was the best brisket he's ever tasted...and the ribs were exactly as expected!!

We pulled into town a little late, so brisket and shrimp were sold out- which I always take as a good sign at a BBQ place! Amazing BBQ (we had the turkey and pulled pork-all the sauces were delicious, cranberry was sooo good and perfectly matched to the turkey!) Sides (bakes beans & coleslaw) were phenomenal! Front counter staff was sarcastic (which I love) and funny. Can’t wait to come back and try the brisket.

Most days the bbq is cooked really well. The burnt ends are delicious fresh off of the brisket. Every now and then the brisket is a little chewy and too fatty. Overall, it is some of the better bbq in the area.

Excellent food, great variety, affordable menu and a relaxed atmosphere. A must try for any BBQ Lover (or anyone wanting a quality meal) in the area. I would put them on the same level as Pappy's.

Delicious food! Definitely would visit if I'm ever back in the area. And reasonable prices. Loved the way you could choose 2 or 3 different meats to your order!

Nice clean place right off the interstate. You order at the bar and wait at your table for them to bring your food. Some outside seating. They offer several draft beers and many bottles, too.Not the best BBQ but certainly not bad and also fairly priced.

Very reasonably priced. Portions are excellent. First time there on a Sunday. 2 platters and a couple sides for the kids were served in less than 5 minutes. I will definitely be returning! I had the 3 meat platter with brisket, pulled pork, and ribs. Absolutely amazing.

My mom drove 30 miles to Fire-N-Smoke in Troy, IL to redeem a gift card that she received from our work. They would not accept the gift card, but she went ahead and placed an order anyway since she was there. She ordered 2 of their "Carryout Family Meals", the smoked chicken wings and the brisket one (close to $100). After taking the order, the girl came back and said she could not sell us the 2 lbs of brisket which was in the family carryout meal (on their menu!). They said that they were worried they might run out and needed to save it for the evening. She asked why her order was no good there. They just kept saying they had to save it for that night. She told them to forget the whole order and walked out empty-handed. We will never go back to this restaurant again.

This is a nice restaurants for BBQ, the have wood smoking grill and the serve, beef, turkey, chicken and some vegetarian dishes along with pork.

This food is amazing! Especially the burnt ends, but I've also had the pork and turkey. The mac n cheese was very good as well. The prices seem high until you see how much food you get!

Absolutely delicious food!!! Can't wait to go back. The decorations are very cute and fit the wood fired theme perfectly. The staff was great and helpful. I had the loaded tater twisters and it was so good. My husband had the pulled pork platter and he said it was phenomenal.

At the Carolina burger. Very delicious, very delicious. My side was cucumber salad very good but I wish they gave you more.My wife had the pork sandwich and sweet potato side . But she does do reviews.

The food was alright. Not sure if we came on an off day, but the most impressive part was their butter. Also the slaw was gross. Stick to the brisket and you will probably enjoy the food. I’ll be back to try again.

Great bbq restaurant. Food is good and they give you plenty. Brisket was tender, sweet potato was sweet and the macaroni and cheese was cheesy.

Good food, most of the time. Service is questionable. Not sure what is up with their cloudy iced tea... Advice: stick with the wings.

This is the best bbq I have had the pleasure of enjoying since I returned to the St Louis area nearly 5 years ago, I truly cannot understand why no one has raved to me about this place since I talk to everyone about bbq. I won't delve into massive superlatives just go get ya some.

Great food. Sauce was really good and with the dry rub it's not needed. Social distancing guidelines were in effect and still had a line to the door.

Aside from us eating at their restaurant in Troy many times, we had them cater our tent wedding for 185 guests and they nailed it!   The food was hot and wonderful (ribs, chicken wings, brisket, beans, mac & cheese, cucumber/tomato salad).   We got all kinds of compliments on the meal.   But what they also did for us was provide (at a reasonable price) bartending and additional people for handling non-catering service duties.   James and Heather were easy to work with. I wholeheartedly recommend them for both in-restaurant eating as well as catering.

Great food. Meats are flavorful, moist and delicious. The Mac & Cheese was some of the best I've ever had.
